
Pot Roast
Ingredients
1-boneless beef pot roast, about 3 pounds
4 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 Teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon minced onion
2 tablespoon steak seasoning, I like grill mates from McCormick
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup red wine
Freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste
Directions
Let roast soak in Worcestershire sauce for 2 minutes on each side and reserve the Worcestershire sauce. Season roast with the onion, garlic powder, pepper, and broiled steak seasoning. Heat the oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add roast and brown on all sides. Add the wine and the reserved Worcestershire sauce and reduce heat slow simmer. After 1 hour, add carrots and potatoes. Cook, turning meat every 30 minutes until vegetables are tender and meat thermometer registers internal temperature of 155 to 160 degrees. 3 to4 hours.
