INGREDIENTS:

1 can of sweet potatoes, mashed
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark brown sugar

Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into greased baking dish and cook in slow oven at 300 degrees F until done, about 1 hour. This is a recipe from the Gullah, who inhabit the islands in the South Carolina Low Country.
