Helpful Tips:
To test the rising of yeast dough: The dough is doubled when two fingertips pressed 1/2 inch into it leaves dents that remain. If dents fill in quickly, let rise 15 minutes longer and test again.

Kool-Aid Pie

Stuff you will need before you start: one graham cracker pie crust, hand mixer, mixing bowl, measuring cup, large spoon.

Ingredients

1 can evaporated milk
1 cup of sugar
1 package Kool Aid your favorite flavor
1 Graham cracker pie crust

Directions

Freeze milk in can until slushy about 35-45 minutes, shake can you should hear a slushy sound. Open slushy milk and scoop or pour in to mixing bowl. Beat with hand mixer until it stands in soft peaks. Milk should be very fluffy and when you lift the beaters out of the milk it should look like little mountains with the peaks folded over. Add sugar to milk and mix well using the hand mixer. Mix in Kool-Aid and pour into piecrust. Place pie in freezer and freeze until firm. About 3-4 hours. To serve cut into slices and garnish with fresh mint leaves or fresh fruit to match Kool-Aid flavor like orange Kool-Aid top with orange slice, or lime Kool-Aid top with fresh lime slice. Mint leaves go well with punch flavor or lemonade. Fresh blueberries go well with blueberry Kool-Aid.

Many different kinds of fat butter, margarine, shortening, salad oil or lard are added to bread dough to improve flavor and make the dough stretch more easily. The bread will have a tender crumb and stays soft longer.
