Bay Roasted Potatoes

This dish is a family favorite. What is amazing and also pleasant is the way the sweet aroma of the fragrant bay leaves invades the kitchen and infuses the potatoes with a fresh flavor.Buy good turkish bay leaves not the Califoria leaves read the label if it says California laurel find the Turkish ones. The California leaves taste like eucalyptus and that is ok in some dishes but not here.

Herbes de Provence

Herbes de Provence is a collection of native kitchen herbs from Provence that includes basil, bay leaf, rosemary, summer savory, thyme, marjoram and lavender. The mixture is always dried and used as a seasoning for grilled meats and poultry.
